“We are actually made of stardust” my teacher remarked more than once. The seers of ancient India understood the nature of the universe in such a profound way that western science is only now catching up.

Jyotisha – the study of Light, and related subjects from the rich traditions of India each support us in understanding our best alignment with the big universe in which we are born. The admixture of science, art, and sometimes, seemingly, magic in the divination sciences of India comprises astronomy, astrology, palmistry and body markings, ritual and remedies. All these are embraced in Samkhya cosmology and philosophy, and all have been nurtured, considered, researched and protected through the 5000 years or more of unbroken teaching.
